Former national coach Joachim Löw is apparently a candidate on the coaching post at the French champion Paris Saint-Germain. As the French sports newspaper L'Equipe reports, Löw belongs to a trio with which the club management of PSG deals intensively.
In addition to Löw, the Argentinian Marcelo Gallardo, coach at River Plate Buenos Aires, and ex-PSG professional Thiago Motta, should also be part of the successor to Mauricio Pochettino since 2014.
This has not yet been released, but after the disappointing performance, especially in the Champions League this season, the 50-year-old's chair wobbles violently. Athletic Bilbao was already traded as a possible new goal for the Argentinian.
Löw has been without a job since his resignation as a national coach after the European Championship last year, most recently he was associated with a commitment to Fenerbahce Istanbul. There was also ex-Benfica coach Jorge Jesus as a candidate. In his part, Gallardo has had many successes with River Plate in the past eight years and was already a candidate for the coaching post at FC Barcelona before Xavi replaced the hapless Ronald Koeman.

Motta had played for PSG between 2012 and 2018 and ended his career in the colors of the club. The 39-year-old coach of the Italian Serie-A-Club has been Spezia Calcio since last summer.
